Teamed up with Dennis and played around in the rings, practicing for the muscleup.
This skill is very technical as well as strength demanding, I need to learn it. :-) To make the progression easyer I brought 2 blue jumpstretches, and used them to assist me to groove the pattern.
Practiced it for about 45 min., combined with some lever variations. Just great :-D

  • Practicing muscleups in rings, assisted with blue jumpstretch
  • 45 min.

    Thereafter we went on with Zercher Situps, inspired by Mark Reifkind (check out his blog to the right).
    I don’t think we did it the way Mark suggested it, because we placed the incline bench behind us, sat down with the barbell in zercher position, leaned back, made a crunch and stood up. It was tough for the abdominals, and was actually a combination of a zercher squat, weighted situp and box-zercher squat.

    Just saw this video. What a mentality this guy has!

    In the evening the weather was just horrible. Has been raining all day but suddently my friend Vergonator called and invited me for a run. I couldn’t say no, the weather was awesome - remember ;-)

    Ran 6,3 K
    splittime = 4:26 min/km, and the last 500 meter for 3:35 min/km.

    Ran like a wind, hell yeah!!!

    That video is beyond INSPIRATIONAL! That young man has so much heart and desire that he can do nothing but succeed! And like he said, it could always be worse. That takes away any exucses that poeple can use about not being fit or not being in shape. Look at this guy with no arms and legs and he absolutely kicks butt!

    Yes, it is just amazing.
    A good video to wathc before early trainingsessions when it is rainy outside, the body is sore after last days workout, and you rather want to stay under the warm blanket.
    Wonder if inactive people find this video as inspirational as we do, maybe we like it because we can associate with this drive towards training??
